从10月4日到7日，来自全世界的星际高手将为了WCG星际冠军及其15000美刀的奖金展开激烈的竞争。

江山代有人才出，一批又一批的星际高手为了这个荣誉和奖金展开新的战斗。自从WCG有了星际项目以来，南韩选手就展现出了他们的统治力，当然，这和南韩的电竞文化是分不开的。虽然，一小部分非韩选手在过去几年的WCG上也有很好的表现，但是并不足以为他们带来一块金牌。

不幸的是，对于所有的非韩选手来说，韩国此次派出的星际选手都太过强大了。3位韩国选手都是高居Kespa排名前五的选手（Kespa排名：一个按月进行的对于韩国职业选手前三十名的排名）。因此，对于非韩选手，尤其是一些欧美顶尖高手来说，能在这样一次大型比赛中登场，已经是一件令人激动的事情了。

On October 4-7th, several of the best Starcraft players from around the world will compete for the $15,000 prize 1st place prize.


Another year has come and gone and with that comes a new batch of players fighting for money and honor among the community. Since the World Cyber Games were born, the South Koreans have dominated. This should come as no shock to those that are familiar with the Korean gaming culture. However, as shown in the past a few non-Koreans have performed well, but not quite well enough to take home a gold medal.

Unfortunately, for all of the non-Korean competitors, the South Korean representatives are the strongest to date. All three of them are currently sitting in the top five of the KesPa rankings (a ranking system consisting of the top 30 professional gamers each month). In the non-Koreans favor though, some of the best players in Europe and the America's will be playing their hearts out with hopes of possibly setting foot on that podium.

GotFrag will be at the event to bring you the most updated coverage with scores, interviews, and features throughout the duration of the tournament.
