中国新闻网12月6日报道 由德国词作家迈克尔·昆茨，意大利音乐家莫洛德尔为北京奥运创作的歌曲《ForeverFriends》有望成为该届奥运会主题歌，迈克尔·昆茨曾参与创作音乐剧《猫》、《歌剧魅影》，莫洛德尔曾为洛杉矶奥运会主题歌《ReachOut》和汉城奥运会主题歌《Hand in Hand》谱曲。北京奥组委文化活动部29日主办了该首歌曲MV主创人员媒体见面会并透露了上述信息。 11月29日，北京奥运会歌曲《Forever Friends》的MV在天坛结束前期拍摄工作后，该歌曲的音乐制作人孔祥东、MV导演杨东升以及两位主唱孙楠和李玟汇聚国家体育总局，参加媒体见面会。
尽管是MV主创见面会，但是媒体的焦点大多集中在音乐主创人身上，享誉全球的莫洛德尔成为全场的核心。他对有幸参与北京奥运会歌曲的创作感到很高兴，他坦言，在歌曲的创作过程中，曾聆听大量的中国民歌，特别是受《浏阳河》的影响比较大。他还表示，为了便于歌曲广为传唱，在乐谱的创作中大量使用简单的旋律，相信全世界的农民听三遍就会唱。
音乐制作人孔祥东现场讲述了与大师莫洛德尔合作体会，其余三位MV创作人员也和大家分享了在过去4天里前期拍摄的故事。
北京奥组委文化活动部官员表示，《Forever Friends》的MV将在年底完成后期制作，并与观众见面。另外，该歌曲的中文版本也正在译制过程中，将于明年初亮相。 附歌词：
