A Starcraft Player, first of all, must be a quick typeist and a skilled computer user. u know how many clicks of mouse and hits of keyboard we make in a minute? 200 at least. Professional gamers may reach 500!
Secondly a good SC player is surely a man with broad vision and pays attention to details at the same time. SC game has two levels as strategy and tactics. The former focuses on the overall pace and perception, while the latter stress micro control and multiple-line operation. A good gamer has to distribute his operating capacity scientifically and thus balance between strategy and tactics. A flaw in tactics, strategic advantage consumes in one battle after another. Inadequate in strategy, battles are won but the war is lost.
Last but not least, a good SC gamer is a good learner, as gamers have to learn from other gamers by a plurality of means including VOD, rep and IPX. Imitating and innovating on the basis of practice is a precondition of making progress.
