The following is an interview done on Jaedong after his win over Best in last night’s Pro League match
How do you feel about having 2 consecutive wins?
- I’m very happy about the team being at the top even though it’s only for the time being. I feel good about the good start. Before the season got started I worried a lot, but once it began we all united very well so I’m feeling very good right now.
Was there a lot of pressure on you facing Best in the lineup?
- I wasn’t stressed out too much. I was confident on the map, and always confident playing against the Protoss race, and I didn’t worry too much about his great pace these days. Practice went very well and if I didn’t make any mistakes I knew I’d win.
You pushed the opponents units upward into the map and subsequently destroyed the 3 o`clock expansion to take the win
- The build I practiced was to harass him a great deal with my mutalisks, I made a big mistake that I normally wouldn’t make during practice. I was supposed to kill 2~3 archons, but except for 2 mutalalisks they all died. Luckily for me he made a grave mistake. When I attacked the 3 o`clock position, if he had destroyed my 8 o`clock position I would have been in a bad spot. I think that is why I won.
Maybe losing your first game drove you to do well for this game
- Yes that is true. I can’t say I have a good record yet. I have to do well and also the team for me to safely say that I have a good record. I only have 2 wins so...
You said you don’t have a definite goal in mind
- Instead of concentrating on having a number of wins, my goal is to become the best ace player out of all 12 teams. I don’t want to chase after wins, I think if I just work hard for the MVP title and the most win title, it will naturally catch up to me.
Savior stated in his interview that he would like to have more wins than you
- For me that interview was somewhat of a burden. To think that someone is chasing after me and to overcome me can be somewhat of a load on my shoulders. It did make me feel good in a way. He is a senior player and to have him think highly of me made me feel good, so I thank him for that.
Compared to last season, how do you feel about this season?
- Last season’s poor performance was the driving force behind this season. My confidence is up and loaded, I have a good feeling about this season.
Your next opponents are the Woongjin Stars
- Our team dealt with the corporation’s merge and becoming a new team, so I know of the great pressure in trying to impress them. When I put myself in their position I feel sorry, but we must win. I am confident, also I am playing against Free in the MSL top 16, I would like to play him again in the Pro League as well.

- My teammate’s Inter.Young, BackHo, and PerfectMan helped me and I뭢 sure they were under stress to help me prepare for today’s game. I want to say thanks and also thank Pure for helping out as well. If given the chance I will help them out too.
