Neither of the players had trouble advancing from the round of 16, Jaedong defeating Free and BeSt taking out M18M. Today the SK Telecom T1 player BeSt will take on Lecaf OZ's recently GomTV Intel Classic crowned posterboy Jaedong in the first quarter final.
BeSt had a tough month in July, hoping to have a more successful run in August. While he started the previous month with a win against Chalrenge in the Proleague, BeSt suffered defeat against JulyZerg in the OnGameNet Starleague final. A complete run-over, losing 0-3 against the reborn Zerg player. He then ended the Proleague season losing to Leta and saw his team get knocked out of the Proleague playoffs.
But August has been looking better for the Protoss. First a 2-1 win over Kwanro and then the latest win over the Protoss player M18M who reached the Round of 16 over the expense of Sea[Shield]. Will BeSt continue his success in the World Cyber Games and possibly be one of the representants in Cologne, or will the 'Legend Killer' Jaedong, filled with confidence after the GomTV Classic finals extinguish the spark in BeSt?
