与火箭签下10天短合同的NBDL球员鲍比-琼斯(Bobby Jones)今天正式加入球队，成为球队本赛季第15名球员。2006年选秀大会，琼斯在第二轮总第37顺位被森林狼选中。在新秀赛季，他便被球队下放到NBDL锻炼。07年夏天，被狼队交易至掘金，并在当个赛季被掘金裁掉后继续在灰熊队效力。身高6英尺6英寸的琼斯本赛季在发展联盟Sioux Falls Skyforce仅效力两场，场均贡献8.0分和3.5个篮板，展现了不错的防守能力。不过如果他想要长期在NBA谋生，自己的进攻能力，尤其是外线投篮能力仍需继续加强……

jsmee2000: If the Rockets can't land Barry, do you think that would consider (or have they considered) signing Mike Harris?
Jonathan_Feigen: If they can't sign Barry, they will sign Bobby Jones to a 10-day contract. He is a rangy 6-7, and a strong defensive player against guards. With the emergence of Carl Landry, they need that more than Harris' ability to swing from the three to the four.
